Roseck Castle – unique and listed as a historical monument

Founded in the 12th century by the Count Palatine of Tübingen, Roseck Castle was converted into a palace by the Dukes of Württemberg in the 16th century. From 1824, the castle changed hands several times, including ownership by agricultural advisors, bank directors, and a soap manufacturer. The main building was destroyed by fire in 1991 and subsequently received a new roof; the outbuildings were last used as a care home.

Revitalization and modernization

The historic ensemble, which has been vacant since 2014, is being carefully renovated in collaboration with the Stuttgart architectural firm Sindlinger & Vogt and transformed into a contemporary usage concept that harmoniously blends old and new. COPRO and Sindlinger & Vogt have been working together trustfully for many years – in 2012, they already completed the preservation and modernization of the five-storey Kaiserbau at Stuttgart's Marienplatz.

Renovation & usage concept

In collaboration with the Tübingen community and in close cooperation with the heritage office, the COPRO Group is developing a comprehensive renovation and modern usage concept for the property at risk of decay.
